VINTAGE CHINESE YELLOW PEKING GLASS QUAN YIN (KWAN YIN) STATUE

This listing is for a beautiful vintage Quan Yin the Goddess of Mercy hand carved statue. There is a Qianlong period mark underneath the statue we are not sure if it was made during that period. Peking glass is a Chinese cameo glass first made popular in the eighteenth century. The glass had a one-color base covered by one or more colored glass layers. Then some of the glass was cut away to make the design.
As one can see from the photos, the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks. Minor blemishes please See Pictures, they do not take away from the beauty of this piece. This beautiful yellow Peking glass statue is a perfect item for any collector of Chinese art and would look beautiful displayed in any home. The following will describe the item in further detail:
